For years Blendtec blenders have been used to make the best-frozen drinks in restaurants, smoothie shops, and coffee shops around the world. With frozen fruit and hard ice it takes a lot of power to make a smooth drink. So what's the trick to crushing ice and making smooth drinks every time? It's Blendtec's unique Power Drive System. The Power Drive System is a combination of the direct drive spline, blade design, and power drawn from the motor. These components combine to draw ingredients into the blending vortex breaking up hard ingredients without over heating or breaking. Fill jar with ice to the 1 to 2 cup line (for best results do not add liquid or exceed the two cups).
Secure lid, press and hold the Pulse (P) button in the 'Home' profile until ice is crushed. (When the ice is crushed it will stick to the jar walls and bottom of the jar)

Note: For a snow like texture add one cup of hard, frozen ice and press and hold the 'P' button in 'Home' profile.
